Milk is becoming an increasingly important part of Coca-Cola’s future planning. Lest anyone doubt it, the evidence is mounting.
• 30th January 2016 – acquisition of 40% stake in Chi of Nigeria.
• 25th January 2016 – announcement of Vio flavoured milk launch in India.
• 2nd December 2015 – purchase of Verde Campo in Brazil.
• 3rd February 2015 – launch of FairLife milk in United States.
That’s 4 major initiatives across 4 continents in under a year.
