Find your car with water

I wouldn’t have believed this without seeing it.

When I come back from a foreign trip, I don’t always remember exactly where I parked my car. So I may go into the airport car park and randomly press my bleeper in the hope that the car lights will flash and show me where it is.

In a large car park, the limited bleeper range can sometimes give cause for concern. But now I’ve learned of two easy remedies.

You may be able to double the bleeper range just by putting it next to your head – since your brain contains a lot of water.

Failing that, you can extend the range even further by putting it next to a bottle of water or indeed any container of water.
