Recycling cartons

Hooray. At last. I can now recycle fruit juice and milk cartons at home.

For years, I have had a very good kerbside collection service covering everything from PET bottles and cans to food and garden waste. But not cartons.

Convenience for households is key to recycling success and I am delighted to see my local Council has finally caught on to cartons.

Interestingly, cartons will be collected in the blue bag for cardboard rather than the green box for other packaging.
