Now in its 15th year, Zenith’s Global Bottled Water Congress is designed for industry leaders, suppliers, customers and advisers to gain a complete overview of the latest market trends, innovations and issues alongside excellent networking.
With bottled water growth outpacing other beverages, an exciting range of emerging categories are actively promoting water attributes. But there are multiple risks if innovation is not transparent about naturalness, sweetness, functionality, sustainability and stewardship. Consumers really want to find right balance. Producers must focus on a healthier planet as well as healthier people.

Richard Hall is an acknowledged expert on the international food and drinks sector, chairing and speaking at numerous industry conferences as well as offering independent comment on bevblog.net.
in five years as a Director of the Dairy Trade Federation, he also served as its Head of Public Relations and as Secretary General of the European Federation of Dairy Retailers. From 1987 to 1990 he was Director and General Manager of beverage market consultancy Canadean.
He formed Zenith in 1991 as a specialist business consultancy for the food and drink industries. The company now has 40 staff working for more than 1,000 clients in over 50 countries. It provides a full range of consulting and market information services. In 2015, Zenith acquired the Beverage Digest business in the United States.
He also chairs FoodBev Media, which he founded in 2000. Its team of 15 staff publishes two business journals and manages the foodbev.com website.
Richard has undertaken many consultancy projects over the past 25 years as well as helping form several industry organisations, including the foundation and chairmanship of the Natural Hydration Council. In 2010 he was Series Consultant for the BBC Money Programme series on The Foods That Make Billions.
In 2013 he completed six years as Chairman of the Bath & North East Somerset Quartet Community Foundation, after two years as Chairman of the Bath City of Festivals Steering Group and two previous years as President of Bath Chamber of Commerce. He is currently a Director of Bath Philharmonia and a Governor of Royal High School Bath.

Anne Wong-Erven is Zenith’s Insight & Advisory Director. She has experience undertaking market opportunity assessments, route-to-market strategy and channel distribution analysis, new product development and mergers & acquisitions studies.
Prior to joining Zenith in January 2015, Anne has over ten years of experience within the Canadian and UK food and drink industry in supply chain and strategic purchasing, and account management roles.

Roberta Barbieri is PepsiCo’s Vice President for Global Water and Environmental Solutions.
Roberta is past chair of the Beverage Industry Environmental Roundtable’s Water Working Group and has served on the Steering Committee for the CEO Water Mandate. Roberta holds an MS in Environmental Engineering and an MS in Environmental Science from the University of New Haven, as well as a BS in Environmental Conservation and International Studies from the University of New Hampshire. In addition to her native English, Roberta speaks Spanish and Italian.

Jason Morrison

Jason Morrison joined the Pacific Institute in 1993 and became its president in October 2016. As president, he oversees the Institute and its activities, focusing on broadening and amplifying the organization’s reach and impact.
He previously directed the Institute’s Corporate Sustainability Program, studying the policy implications of private sector sustainability initiatives, with a focus on freshwater-related business risks and on sustainable water management in the business community.
Jason received a B.A. in Philosophy from the University of California, San Diego and a Master’s Degree in Energy and Environmental Studies from Boston University.
Boris Smoje

Boris Smoje is the Ardagh Group Commercial Manager and Sales Development Manager of Ardagh’s ‘Metal Beverage Europe’ division.
His career in metal packaging began in 2005 with Henkel. In 2009, Smoje decided to take his career to the next level with Ball Packaging Europe where he became the Sales Manager of the Balkan Region. Following his success, he was promoted to leading the European Soft Drinks Key Accounts in 2012 and took over the role of the Sales Manager UK & Ireland to develop especially new categories like water and craft beer in 2015.
In 2018, Smoje was given the opportunity to become the Group Commercial Manager of the Ardagh Group and Sales Development Manager for the newly acquired division ‘Ardagh Metal Beverage’.
Andy Peykoff II
Chief Executive Officer of Niagara Waters
Family owned and operated since 1963, Andy’s humble beginnings at Niagara Bottling started in manufacturing as a teenager.
Andy continues his commitment to world-class manufacturing and supply chain by investing in industry-leading software and the fastest, most technologically advanced PET bottling lines in the world. Under Andy’s leadership, Niagara has grown from two to over 30 manufacturing facilities producing a diverse range of beverages including still, sparkling and flavored water, tea and isotonics. His dedication to product innovation and environmental sustainability at Niagara has paved the way for the design of one of the lightest bottles in the world and the company becoming the largest user of recycled PET in North America.
Andy’s entrepreneurial spirit and passion for innovation has built a unique high growth culture that drives Niagara’s success. The company’s numerous awards include Beverage Forum’s Large Company of the Year and Ernst and Young’s National Entrepreneur of the Year for Family Business. Andy is a graduate of Southern Methodist University and lives in Southern California with his wife Jaime and their six children.

Ms. Anjana Ghosh is the Director of Marketing and Business Development at Bisleri International Pvt Ltd. After having worked in the steel industry for over15 years, Ms. Ghosh joined Bisleri in June 2006 as Deputy General Manager, Sales & Marketing.
Ms. Ghosh was primarily responsible for bringing innovation to the brand and strategizing the engineering of Bisleri from Blue to Green. After the brand re-engineering the new and young image of vibrant Bisleri ensured that the company's sales zoomed ahead. The journey from Blue to Green saw a revolution of change in the perception and demand of the brand.
She is strategically and aggressively growing the brand by working on market penetration with a winning and prudent combination of backward and forward integration. Market penetration, revamping and restructuring of sales teams to increase bottling units is part of her winning plan. Her vision and foresight keeps Bisleri ahead of times and above all competitions. She has inculcated the never give up spirit in each of her team members which motivates them to take Bisleri to unprecedented growth.

Jesus Nunez

Jesús joined Mahou San Miguel in 2011 and has headed the Waters Business Unit since 2013.
Prior to that, he held various positions, most recently as Director of Corporate Social Responsibility and Labour Relations, and General Manager of the Mahou San Miguel Foundation.
He is a lawyer and holds a Master's Degree in Human Resources Management from the IE Business School. Lim Seng Lee (Kenny), aged 43, male, a Malaysian and was appointed to the Board on October 15, 2015. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in International Business from San Francisco State University, United States.
In 2008, he took the position of Deputy General Manager and was responsible to assist the Managing Director and General Manager to plan and set up the company’s policy and objectives. At the same time, he was involved in strategic planning and Corporate Social Responsibility of the Company. In 2011, he has been promoted to be the Group General Manager and responsible to oversee and ensures the overall operation activities of the Company are in accordance with the Company’s policies and objectives. In October 2018, he has been appointed as Asia Middle East Bottled Water Association (ABWA) President.
Ross Colbert
Global Sector Head - Beverages for Rabobank International
Prior to his current role, Ross Colbert was Global Strategist for Beverages in Rabobank’s Food & Agri Research and Advisory (“FAR”) group from January 2011 until June 2016.
Colbert joined Rabobank in 2011 following an extensive 25 year career as an investment banker focused on global beverages. His M&A experience includes closing over 60 beverage industry transactions across the US, Latin America, Europe and Africa.
Before joining Rabobank he was Managing Director of Zenith International, a leading consulting, market intelligence and financial advisory firm focused on the global beverage industry. Prior to that, he was Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer for eight years at Beverage Marketing Corporation. Over his career he has served as an advisor to Nestle, PepsiCo, The Coca-Cola Company, and Heineken, as well as many independent, beverage companies and private equity investors. He began his career with Coca-Cola Bottling Company of Miami and Cadbury Schweppes plc. He is a graduate of the University of Hawaii and has completed executive programs at University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School and Harvard Business School.
Daniel Zimmermann

Daniel holds a Master of Business Administration from the Fuqua School of Business, Duke University and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles.

Patrick Lachassagne, 54, is Doctor in Quantitative Hydrology and Hydrogeology from the Paris School of Mines (1989) and graduated with a Professorial Level (HDR) from the Montpellier 2 University (2008).
Patrick Lachassagne has previously been, for 9 years, head of “Environment and Water Resources” for the French springs of the Danone Company in France (Evian, Volvic, Badoit and La Salvetat Natural Mineral Water springs/brands). He was in charge, with his team, of improving the knowledge about the structure and hydrogeological functioning, and of managing these Natural Mineral Water Resources, and also of defining and implementing the Protection Policies devoted to the preservation of their purity.
Patrick Lachassagne was before, for about 20 years, a researcher and the head of a Research Unit in hydrogeology at BRGM’s Water Division (the French Geological Survey).
