The industry’s only Global Bottled Water Awards are designed to celebrate excellence and innovation across every category of the packaged water industry. Open to innovators and entrepreneurs, as well as established brands from around the globe, the awards are a great way for you to enhance your brand and ensure your product, concept or campaign is recognised on an international scale. This year’s winners will be announced at an awards gala dinner, held at the Burj Al Arab, Dubai on 9 October, during Zenith Global’s 16th Global Bottled Water Congress. Entry has now closed.

How do I enter?
There are two stages to the entry process.
The first stage
1. Simply click 'enter now'
2. Fill in your company information on our application form
3. Fill in your product/campaign name
4. Select the category/ies you wish you enter into
5. Click submit!
The second stage
Once we have received your application and payment, a member of the awards team will be in touch to support you on your submission for the awards.
What is required?
- 1 short presentation (2 x slides of content) per entry made
- At least 1 high-resolution image of your product (or video of your campaign)
- Some categories also require samples. Please check our entry criteria to see where this is required.
*If you are entering either Best Marketing or Social Media Campaign, you qualify for 3 x slides of content.
How much does it cost to enter?
You can enter multiple categories or products at a cost of $225.00 (plus VAT) per entry.
If you enter 3 categories, the 4th is free!
How do I pay?
We accept most major credit and debit cards.
Entries are paid by credit/debit card using the application process on our website.
On receipt of payment, you will be sent a confirmation email. An email with a pdf e-receipt as proof of purchase will follow.

What happens once I have paid?
Please refer to "How do I enter?" and view "Stage 2" on this section.
What is the deadline to enter?
Both payment and awards submission needs to be made by Monday 2 September 2019
Where are the awards presented?
The winners will be announced at an awards gala dinner, held at the Burj Al Arab, Dubai on Tuesday 9 October during Zenith's Global 16th Global Bottled Water Congress.
While we would be very pleased to see you there, attending is not a condition of entering the awards.
When will the finalists be announced?
Once all judges have submitted their feedback and scores, all points will be counted and verified.
A press release will be released announcing the finalists. All entrants and finalists will be notified by the end of September 2019.
Entry Criteria
We are delighted to hear that you are planning to enter the 2019 Global Bottled Water Awards. Here are some guidelines and instructions to help ensure you increase your chances of winning and submit the correct information about your product/campaign/initiative/innovation.
All products entered must have been launched/ created/ rebranded from January 2017 onwards. If you have a product that is not yet in the market, it can still be entered as long as they are in their prototype/packaging stage by the closing date of this awards scheme.

To qualify as a flavoured water, fruit juice content should not exceed 25% of the product content.

Best Functional Water
A water that serves one or more functional purposes e.g. contains caffeine, magnesium, zinc, vitamins, minerals or other functional ingredients. It may be flavoured or neutral in taste, but for flavoured water, it must fulfil the requirements of a flavoured water.

Yasemin Bradley is a Turkish female physician specialised as a nutritionist and dietitian. She was also a television presenter and writer.

Michael Cervin has been the Senior Editor of BottledWaterWeb.com for 11 years writing about every aspect of the bottled water industry.
Michael has been both water judge and watermaster at the Berkeley Springs International Water Tasting for over a decade, and was invited by the Chinese government to participate in the Golden Headwater Protection Summit in Beijing, where he conducted water tastings for 80 Chinese media. He has also been a judge and presenter at the Global Bottled Water Awards in Prague.
