Global Water Drinks Awards 2023
The industry's only Global Water Drinks Awards celebrate excellence and innovation across every category of the water drinks industry worldwide. The awards are a great way to enhance your brand and ensure your product, concept or campaign is recognised on an international scale. The awards will open from June 2023 until September 2023. Winners will be announced at Zenith Global's 20th Global Water Drinks Congress.

How much does it cost to enter?
A discounted early entry rate of £195 + VAT per category is available until Friday 28 July. Entry after this time is priced at £225 + VAT per category.
If you enter 3 categories, the 4th entry is free!
Entries can be registered at any time, with submissions required by the deadline of Friday 29 September.
How do I enter?
There are two stages to the entry process.
1. Register your entries: Simply click 'Enter Now', and select the categories and products you wish to enter and then fill out your personal details.
2. Prepare your submissions: Once we have received your application and payment, a member of the awards team will be in touch to support you on your submission for the awards, due by Friday 29 September.
In each category, you are required to submit the following:
- A 200-word description of why your product deserves to win*
- Two high-resolution product images
- Company logo
- Samples are required for select categories**
*For the categories 'Best Marketing/Social Media Campaign' and 'Best CSR Initiative' you are invited to send an additional 1-page document to include any video content or imagery relating to the entry.
**Product samples are required in the following categories: Best Natural Still Water, Best Natural Sparkling Water, Best Flavoured Water and Best Functional Water.

When will the finalists be announced?
Once all judges have submitted their feedback and scores, all points will be counted and verified.
A press release will be released announcing the finalists. All entrants and finalists will be notified by mid-to-late October.
Where will the winners be announced?
The awards ceremony will take place on 28 November 2023 at a gala industry dinner during Zenith Global's 20th Global Water Drinks Congress in Gleneagles, Scotland.
While we would be very pleased to see you there, attending is not a condition of entering the awards.

We are delighted that you are planning to enter the 2023 Global Water Drinks Awards.
Below are some entry instructions and guidelines to help you maximise your chances of winning, by ensuring you submit the correct information regarding your product, campaign, initiative or innovation. Download the full entry guidelines here.
All products entered must have been launched/created/re-branded from January 2021 onwards. If you have a product that is not yet in the market, it can still be entered as long as they are in their prototype/packaging/ stage by the closing date of this awards scheme.

Technology innovation relating to the production, manufacturing or distribution of packaged water drinks. This includes new technologies that have a positive impact on cost-saving or environmental impact in the manufacturing/distribution of products, technologies which change the way in which customers access and consume products, and advancements in product/packaging formulation.

2023 Finalists

Neil Kimberley

Neil Kimberley is expert, who has been swimming with the beverage industry sharks over the past two decades.
Over the past 20 years, Neil’s work has included the rebirth of Snapple in the late 90s, the development of what is now the KDP distribution system, exploration of Protein beverages, and the growth of Essentia Water from being a niche health food to becoming a mainstream Premium Water – and the brand’s sale to Nestle in 2021. He has recently been involved with the start-up of a new Sparkling Water brand and is currently advising other beverage brands, big and small.
Joe Doss
President and CEO International Bottled Water Association
Joe Doss has served as President and CEO of the International Bottled Water Association (IBWA) since 1999.
Joe has a B.A. in government from The College of William and Mary and a J.D. from George Mason University School of Law. He has completed an executive management course at the Center for Creative Leadership. Joe is a member of the Bar in Virginia and the District of Columbia. He serves on the Board of Directors at the International Council of Bottled Water Associations and is a member of the Food and Drug Law Institute and the American Bar Association.
