With the theme of 'Flowing with Purpose', the 32nd annual conference will cover pivotal topics such as future market direction, sustainability, functionality and innovation, alongside essential insights on industry trends, challenges and opportunities.
Industry leaders, experts, retailers and innovators will share their valuable knowledge and perspectives through a series of presentations and interactive panel discussions, where attendees can participate in polling and put forward their questions.

Dr Beizhan Yan
Associate Research Professor for Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory of Columbia University, United States
Dr. Beizhan Yan is an Adjunct Associate Professor of International and Public Affairs and a Lamont Associate Research Professor at Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory (LDEO).
After two years of postdoc in Idaho National Laboratory, he joined Washington University in St. Louis to study nanoscale size effects on biogeochemical processes for environmental bioremediation. At LDEO, he has established an Environmental Organic Geochemistry Lab with ability to extract, isolate, and identify organic contaminants and biomarkers from environmental and biological samples.
He has successfully traced metals and aromatic hydrocarbons in the waters and air of NYC and linked the exposures of these air pollutants to pediatric asthma outcomes. He is also leading a collaborative study to examine the association between pediatric respiratory outcomes and air pollutants (including PM2.5 and black carbon, VOCs) in Beijing China. To determine possible impacts of hydrofracking on environment stresses (e.g., noise and air and water pollutions), psychological stress, and health outcomes, he is leading a collaborative study in Pennsylvania. He is also conducting the ecological impact of microplastics in estuaries and oceans.

In preparation for the conference Field Agent recently conducted a survey to 500 shoppers and then 100 follow-up store visits in Asda, Sainsbury’s, Waitrose and Tesco looking at how shoppers choose what soft drinks to buy and why.

Radnor is committed to environmental sustainability: it is a zero to landfill site, it recently opened a solar farm to power its manufacturing site, and its environmental management system and site have been certified to ISO 14001 standards.
Its brands include Radnor Spring Water, Radnor Splash, Heartsease Farm, Radnor Fizz and Radnor Fruits. The company produces over 400 million drinks every year. It is the only drinks manufacturer in the UK to produce drinks on site in all four packaging formats – glass, can, PET plastic and Tetra Pak.
