All change in soft drinks
New dimensions in soft drinks are to the fore at the next UK Soft Drinks Conference on 13 May in central London.
Spirits market leaders Diageo, through Distill Ventures, and Pernod Ricard will talk about changing adult tastes and pioneering non-alcoholic spirits, joined by the Co-founder of Funkin and Stryyk ‘not vodka’.
Other emerging segment innovators include Jimmy’s Iced Coffee, The Leaf Life on cannabidiol, Real Kombucha and Caleño non-alcoholic spirit.
All this innovation provides the perfect build up to the presentation of the 2020 InnoBev Awards at the end of the day, followed by a networking drinks reception.
The major soft drinks companies will also be represented, including an opening address by the Chief Executive Officer of Nichols plc, Dr Marnie Millard OBE, in a session on premium prospects.
Other participants already confirmed include Asda’s Senior Manager for Soft Drinks and the British Soft Drinks Association’s Director General.
The conference is being organised by food and drink experts Zenith Global in partnership with the British Soft Drinks Association.
“We have chosen the theme of ‘Personal Choice’ this year because so much of the market is moving towards an ever wider selection, often with added premium and functional value”, commented Zenith Global Chairman Richard Hall. “New technology in dispense and delivery is developing too. Society also calls on us to make a more responsible choice in terms of health and sustainability. This will be the focus of our day and debate.”
