Records tumble for European watercooler event
Over 1000 square metres of exhibition stands have already been taken for the European Bottled Watercooler Association Convention and Trade Fair in London from 7th to 10th March 2000, more than the final total for this year's event in Paris.
The 1999 trade fair was attended by 950 delegates from 47 countries and the organisers are hoping for many more in London by booking some of London's most prestigious venues.
On 8th March there will be a free Welcome Reception and Aqua Awards ceremony inside the Millennium Dome, which delegates will be able to visit earlier in the day. On 9th March there will be a star studded Reception and Gala Dinner at Madame Tussaud's in the company of the Royal Family, numerous world leading statesmen and an array of film celebrities as well as some notorious criminals.
The Trade Fair itself will be held in the London Arena on 9th and 10th March. The business programme will also include a series of plant tours on 7th and 8th March, a conference on 8th March and two days of practical workshops on 9th and 10th March.
The theme for the 2000 event will appropriately be "Drink to the Future" and it promises to be the biggest watercooler trade fair ever held outside the United States.
