Zenith forms mergers & acquisitions unit
After 15 years of providing specialist consulting services to the food and drink industries worldwide, Zenith International has created a new dedicated unit to advise companies on merger and acquisition activity.
It will be headed by Charles Phillips as Mergers & Acquisitions Director. He is to join Zenith later in April 2006 after a distinguished career in many of the world's leading food and drink companies including Danone, Kellogg and Unilever as well as BP Oil, based in continental Europe and North America in addition to the United Kingdom.
Aged 46, Charles was Director of Acquisitions and Development for the Worldwide Water Division of Groupe Danone up to 2003, when he moved back to England as Commercial Director for Eden Springs UK, successfully integrating the commercial operations of 14 different water cooler acquisitions.
"Zenith has been progressively developing its advisory services for mergers and acquisitions including commercial and technical due diligence," commented Zenith Chairman Richard Hall. "With Charles' top level experience of acquisitions, integrations and project management alongside brand marketing, trade marketing and sales, we could not have wished for a better combination."
Already living in the World Heritage City of Bath where Zenith is based, Charles Phillips will work most closely with Zenith Management & Technical Consulting Director Stuart Banham.
